Ever since my dad came home with vintage furniture for me to redo at the age of 13, I was hooked. I grew up with the classics- Pyrex in the kitchen, Ironstone China when cleaning out my grandfather’s house, and hand-me-down furniture that we had to make work. I am in the process of updating the items in my home to replace the plastics and the items that aren’t sustainable with antique goods. i reuse, reduce and give away items that don’t currently serve us while avoiding future landfill drops by purchasing old items that can suit our needs.
